MANU TEMPLE: Located about 2 kms from the Mall Road, Manu Temple is dedicated to the sage Manu situated at old Manali.
VASHISTH KUND : Just 3 kms from the city do not miss the wonderful Vashist Temple. This temple is Well known for its hot springs.
SOLANG VALLEY: If you really wish to get the feel of the nature and want to be so close to the nature then Solang Valley is the perfect place for you. Free from the hustle bustle of the city this place is located about 15 kms from Manali. Just enjoy the serene landscapes here amidst green deodar jungles. If you are adventure sports lovers then you can also enjoy paragliding here in Solang Valley. In a picturesque setting this has good ski slopes in winters and a perfect picnic spot in all the seasons
ROHTANG PASS : It is the place where you will find snow round the year. Summer is the best time to visit Rohtang Pass as the roads are open from end April till October in this region.

Manali is well connected by National Highway from Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab and Jammu. Manali is also connected by Air and Bhunter is the nearest airport located in Kullu about 50 km from Manali. Frequent buses are available from Bhuntar to Manali. You can also hire Taxi from airport to Manali.
Toy trains are available from Pathankot till Joginder Nagar which is the nearest narrow gauge railhead at a distance of about 165 km from Manali. The nearest broad gauge railway station from Manali is Chandigarh about 310 km, and Ambala about 355 km.
Distance from Delhi to Manali by road is about 570 km and from Shimla the distance is 280 km.
