Post Covid-19 Traveling Tips

The COVID-19 Pandemic, outbreak started in Wuhan in November 2019, China, and within two months time it spread in almost all the countries across globe. The entire world had to go on lockdown to prevent the spread of Corona Virus.

The Covid-19 has now forced the people to follow certain norms and till the time there is Corona in this world, the new norms are going to be new normal.
The social distancing is one of the most important and helpful norm that the world is following now. Many industries have been impacted with the pandemic spread. However travel and hospitality industry is the worst hit sector due to Covid-19. As the world unlocks many industries are fighting it back and struggling to stand again.

Travel demand is all time low and as a result the travel, hotel and hospitality industry is facing the brunt. People may not make up their mind to travel for some time now fearing relapse of Covid-19.

The economy is down, there are job cuts and salary cuts which will further discourage the travel enthusiasts. It doesn’t mean that the tourism industry will never revive again. Yes it will but may take longer as compared to other sectors.
The travel lovers will come out and start exploring the world as soon as they see things are getting better.

Here are the tips for the travelers who wish to travel Post Covid-19
Ø  Do not immediately plan an International Trip. You may not be completely aware of the situation on the ground. Some countries may have hid the actual situation and may be portraying that everything is fine. So till the time you are not sure about the actual facts avoid International Travel.

Ø  Make a travel plan within your own country. Since you are well informed about your country, it is safe for you to travel. Furthermore, you are also contributing to revive the travel industry and economy of your own country.

Ø  Post Covid-19 you should chose a Green Zone as your first travel destination and the place which has unlocked the hospitality sector, hotels, transport etc. However before you reach there make sure you are aware of the unlock policies and norms of that place, whether it is Social distancing, or wearing a mask or not assembling in large numbers.

Ø  Also if you are still in a Red Zone wait for the situation to improve before you make a travel plan. The destination may also not give you entry in that condition.

Ø  If you have decided to travel means you have some extra money which you are willing to spend and you can afford a holiday. Make sure you pay the genuine price of whatever services you are availing. Be it a hotel room, or a taxi or food etc. Remember that these are the people who haven’t earned a single penny during the lockdown.

Ø  Do not litter, respect the nature and the place you are traveling. You love this place therefore you have chosen that place to travel. It is your responsibility to keep that place beautiful.

Traveling is an amazing experience and helps a person rejuvenate and relive stress. If you are missing those days don’t worry, this too shall pass and the day is not far when you will get to fulfill your bucket list.
