Sight Seeing Itinerary for Mcleodganj Dharamshala
Day 1
Arrival at Dharamshala, Pickup from airport or ISBT, check in, Welcome drink (tea/cold drinks/Breakfast)
Visit Bhagsu Nag Temple and Bhagsu waterfall. Visit the beautiful Dal Lake, Naddi village & Famous church
Take
rest for a while and in the evenings enjoy the lush green ambience of
the place. Take a walk through lush green Deodar Trees and see the
colorful Mcleodganj Market and Dalai Lama Monasteries
Back
to hotel, Have dinner take a walk again and feel the beauty of the
place at night. Pollution free, dust free and noise free atmosphere you
will get
Day 2
Visit
the most beautiful International Cricket stadium in the world. Then go
to Indru Nag a hill top from where you can see the entire Kangra
Valley. If you love adventure go for PARAGLIDING at Indru Nag. few kms
from Indru Nag is famous Aghanjar Mahadev Temple located on the RIVER
SIDE.
Do visit this temple and enjoy the beautiful view of the
mountains and if you like you can also enjoy river bathing here (but
water is very cold here). If you want to do any shopping you can do
that at Kotwali Bazaar Dharamshala (You can buy famous Kullu Shawls
from the registered shops here)
Don't
forget to listen to the chirruping of birds in the early morning and
watch the sun rise from the mighty Dhauladhar Ranges.
Day 3
Trekking to Triund
One
of the most beautiful locations in Dharamshala is Triund. But you need
to trek and walk through the hilly terrain for 3-4 hours to reach the
highest point where you can find SNOW as well. The trek is easy and
very safe. You will feel like in heaven at Triund. You should start
early in the morning, enjoy your day at the top and reach back to hotel
in the evening
Day 4
Check out after breakfast
Visit Tea Gardens and Tea Factory, Go to Chamunda Devi Temple and Brajeshwari Temple Kangra
If
you have to go by Volvo then board the bus at 7 PM in the evening at
Kangra and travel back to Delhi with loads of rejuvenation and memories
If by car/taxi then you can leave for Delhi with some great and unforgettable memories
If car is hired from Delhi then please add Rs 250 per day as driver charges and you also need to pay Toll on the way
While local sight seeing by car the toll and other taxes if any are included
