How to reach Macleodganj Dharamshala - Getting there

Mcleodganj by Air Nearest airport: Gaggal (20 km 45 minutes), connected to Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by Jagson Airlines. Hire a cab to town for Rs 350.

Mcleodganj by Rail Nearest railhead: Chakki Bank (80 km/ 2-3 hrs), connected to Delhi by the Jammu Express and to Kolkata by the Jammu Tawi Express. Hire a cab (Rs 600 approx) to McLeodganj.

Mcleodganj by Road NH1 and NH21 link Delhi to Kiratpur via Chandigarh. Drive further to Una, then via Nehran Pukhar to Kangra. McLeodganj is 31 km from here. To get here from Shimla, drive to Bilaspur and on to Mandi. Follow NH20 to Dharamsala via Jogindernagar and Palampur.
